Sage Barker is an organic farmer and artist who visually explores the overlap between land work and creative work, and the subtleties that exist in both of these areas. She is a photographer, painter, and observer of nature.

Sage utilizes both digital and film formats to create photographs with a strong focus on detail and the use of natural light. She incorporates an aesthetic of nostalgia and gentleness in her work that aims to highlight nature’s inherent beauty.

Currently, she is based at Pure & Simple Farm in Millgrove, Ontario, where she grows vegetables, herbs, and trees on a patch of land tended to with care and reverence.
